Mason Jar Cozy

My husband, Fred, has recently started canning the juice he's been juicing in his juicer. He takes about 4 wide mouth pint jars to work to drink during the day. They've been clinking, clanking and clunking in his lunch bag, so he's requested a cozy for them. Here's what I came up with. Let me know if you find an error.

ROW 1: Using a magic circle, ch 2, make 12 hdc in ring. Gently close the circle and join with a sl st to the top of the ch 2.

ROW 2: Chain 2, hdc in same space as chain, make 2 chains in each st around ending with sc in top of chain 2 (24 hdc).

ROW 3: CHAIN 2, hdc in same space as chain, *hdc in next st, 2 hdc in next st. Repeat from * around, joining with sl st to top of chain 2 (36 hdc).

ROW 4: Chain 2, hdc in blo of each st around, sl st to top of chain 2 (36 hdc).

ROWS: 5 – 18: Chain 2, hdc in each st around, sl st to top of chain 2 (36 hdc in each round).

ROW 19: chain 2, hdc in next st, * chain 1, sk next st, hdc in next 2 sts. Repeat from * around joining with sl st to top of chain 2 ( hdc and ch 1 spaces).

Row 20: Chain 1, sc in each hdc and chain 1 space, (36 sc).
End and weave in end.

Chain a length of yarn for a tie if you want to close the top of the cozy. Weave in the ends. Thread through mesh in 17th row. Pull to close.
I will update this with a quart size cozy soon.
